Artina Suites Hotel Review

Location: 2863 E. Zobel Street, corner J.P. Rizal Street, Poblacion, Makati City, 1210, Philippines
It’s always good to have a break from all the hustle and bustle of the Metro, and it’s never easy to find that perfect place where you can unwind and just relax for a night or so. One of the busiest cities in Manila is Makati but it’s one the places I’d rather go because of everything it can offer: Good malls, restaurants and best of all the loveliest hotels. I know how hard it is to find a great hotel with quality amenities without having to hurt your savings that much especially in Makati, that’s why I’m so glad to have discovered this hotel that I instantly fell in love with and share it to you.
Yes, I’m talking about Artina Suites Hotel.
It is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Makati, with accommodations that will make you feel at home. It is unlike all the fancy hotels in the city with towering heights, it has a humble six floors that holds 40 rooms but can definitely pass all the rest.
The hotel is also very accessible to known landmarks like SM Makati, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Rockwell Center and MRT Stations making it very easy to go around the city, also perfect for commuters since jeepneys and cabs always pass by the front of the hotel.
Now, let me personally tell you about my stay in Artina Suites and share what I think.
The first thing you’ll notice upon entering the hotel is the very warm welcome from the staff which never ended until my checkout. The lobby is just small but has a very good feel and nice interiors with lovely abstract paintings.
Then, we were accompanied to our room right after the very smooth check-in. The elevator was small and the hallways were ordinary but the bamboo panels and plants on every end made it more interesting.
We stayed in their Premiere Room which is really spacious with very modern interiors and style. It has a huge and comfortable bed, LCD TV and a good air conditioning unit.
Beside the bed area was a space for dining with a table and two chairs. It also has utensils and a mini bar in the refrigerator. One of the things I like about this hotel that I don’t normally see in others is that it has a ready to use microwave oven in every room plus water heater and a pitcher. So living here for long is really made easy, very convenient!
Another thing I love is the door beside the dining area which leads to the walk-in closet. Yes, it’s a walk-in closet and I love it! A huge space where I can keep my bag and the clothes I brought with me. The bathroom was also nice and clean, all modern and complete with toiletries. There’s no bath tub though but the hot and cold shower is working really well with the rain shower, too.

I really like our room, although we don’t have a big window and a view since it’s located in the back part of the hotel. But the other rooms on the front part have big ones so take note  to request these rooms especially if you like looking outside the city. They also have free WIFI access and daily newspapers which makes it more convenient.
Overall the room was really a big surprise considering its rate, definitely a nice place to relax while having all the things that five star hotels offer without spending too much! The room was big, complete with amenities, comfortable, very modern, clean and well-designed and most of all homey. I always love staying at hotels that makes me feel at home and Artina never failed me on that. It really gave me more than what I asked for.
The hotel is also surprisingly quiet unlike others in the area since Makati is very busy, transportation and cars pass by the front of the hotel every now and then so I’m glad I can get a peaceful time when in my room.
Their room rate also includes a set breakfast for two which was really delicious. You can have it every morning in their very inviting restaurant, the Artina Gallery Cafe.

It is located just beside the entrance of the hotel. It also serves gourmet Asian dishes and fusion cuisine. The cafe also exhibits several artworks from different artists every month to feed its customers’ eyes while they dine. So for those art lovers out there, this is a plus for you! The place is also a perfect venue for parties, events, etc.
Not only that because every Friday, Artina Gallery Cafe holds its Acoustic Nights and I’m so glad to get to experience this. Amazing dinner with feel good music serenading you, the best!
Staying in Artina Suites Hotel was a very wonderful experience, I felt like it was my home all the time I was there and the staff are very courteous and made it a lovelier stay. I also have to congratulate and thank Artina Suites Hotel’s Manager, Jem Doma. She really have the hotel in her good hands.
The moment I checked out, I immediately planned when to book my next stay. Yes, it made me miss the vibe of the hotel that instant. It’s just so homey that I can live there forever! Speaking of that, they offer daily, weekly and monthly rates so check it out.
And if you’re planning a stay at Artina, here are their rates:
